Many laugh and look down on my shameless use of WOW power leveling services. "Duh, you would actually pay someone to play a game for you? LOL." My answer: Duh, yes I would, and I do. See for me it’s just logical. I love WoW. Do I love it enough to grind or quest for endless hours, staring at the XP bar out of the corner of my eye the whole time, the highlight of the whole ordeal being when I go back to town and turn in a few quests at a time and actually get to see the thing move more than a millimeter? Definitely no. I got better things to do with my free time. Like running a country.
Balance: Moonkin Aura - Starsurge grants 4% spell critical strike chance to 8 allies within 40 yards for 18 sec, stacking up to 3 times. Feral: Leader of the Pack - While in Cat Form, you increase the melee and ranged critical chance of raid members within 40 yards by 5%. Leader of the Pack also causes affected targets to heal themselves for 4% of their maximum health when they critically hit with a melee or ranged attack. The healing effect cannot occur more than once every 6 sec. Guardian: Sharpened Claws - Maul increases the damage done by your Swipe and Thrash by 25% for 6 sec. Restoration: Overgrowth - Instantly applies Lifebloom, Rejuvenation, Wild Growth, and Regrowth's heal over time effect to the target. Hunter
Usually it's best to avoid a lot of instance runs. It is too difficult to account for bad groups, and some instances are too far away with too few quests. Since the experience is very good, it's a good idea to clear nearby instances which have a lot of quests once (Gnomeregan, Deadmines for Alliance). Distant instances with few quests should be avoided (Deadmines for Horde). Low level instances can be cleared by paying or befriending a single high level character. However, since patch 3.3 a new Dungeon group finding system has been implemented, as well as a direct port to dungeons (when entering the group you get ported to the dungeon and back to the same location if you leave it) and thus the travel time to dungeons has been greatly reduced. This makes it a good idea to complete quests or grind while you wait for a group to become available.
Dugi’s Guide has released their Cataclysm bonus which is an in game talent advisor. Finally and actual bonus worth talking about; or so I thought. Once on the inside of Dugi’s Guide members area the truth was revealed. The talent advisor bonus is just the 3rd party addon “Talenteds”! Using TomTom add on for navigation is already a large negative in my books, now offering a free addons as a bonus. Dugi, Dugi, Dugi.. – not cool. I’m tempted to take another point away from Dugi but that would be my personal opinion.
This Addon solves that issue where you have 5 Paladins in your Raid and no one can decide who is Buffing what. It has a little UI that represents Different Classes in your Party or Raid. You can change what buffs you want to give out then just mash the Class Button for each Class type until they all Turn Green. If anyone is missing a buff you are assigned the Class
Level with a pet if you can because it will help keep you safe. If your pet is tanking all of the damage from the enemies you’re fighting, you won’t have to. The other reason is that pets are easier and cheaper to heal than you are. If you don’t have a pet, make sure you know how to use your defensive abilities. You can’t level quickly if you are dying all the time.
As the first major content release of Battle for Azeroth, patch 8.1: Tides of Vengeance is adding a number of new ways to gear up, as well as increasing the item level of rewards from existing activities. Tides of Vengeance goes live on December 11th and will add most of the new content, but Mythic+ and PvP Season 2 will not start until the new raid, Battle of Dazar'alor, releases in January, at which time the item level thresholds will increase to the new Titanforge cap of 425.
This section will be a brief section to look at the talent advisors in both Dugi’s guide & Zygor’s guide. For new players having a talent advisor is a perfect feature, as you probably don not really know what talents are good and what talents are not. Even for us experienced players; rolling an alt might be difficult at first as we have to research good talent builds for leveling.
The downside is that War Mode will make you vulnerable to other players, which means you might be killed more often. Whether it’s worthwhile will depend on the zones you’re visiting and how active the other faction is on your server cluster. Heavily populated realms usually mean more players on both sides, and more conflict, but on quieter realms, you may rarely run across an enemy.
I've found the best way to level alts is Pet Battling over by Halfhill in Pandaria. My Nightborne Priest I got to 90 that way (the rest was WoD Treasures, then regular leveling post 100), my Mag'har Shaman I'm at 61 with 16 hours or so played. Having a second monitor to zone out and watch Netflix or whatever helps. I think it's the fastest way to get to 90 personally. I really dislike the leveling changes so I just Pet Battle now.
