For some weird reason Warlock used to be underrepresented in vanilla WoW. However, the least popular doesn’t mean that they were bad. Warlocks had amazing damage and some truly unique utility abilities allowing them to summon players or create Healthstones for the whole group. Similarly to Hunters, Warlocks were amazing for solo players with the ability to summon various demons to help them.
Why Skinning? Skinning is incredibly easy to level up while you are leveling your character. The leather that you skin will almost always sell on the Auction House (albeit not for much, but hey– it’s free gold!). Even if you don’t want to take the effort to sell the skins on the Auction House, you can simply vendor them for a significant amount of extra gold.
When you decide to Buy World of Warcraft Classic Gold, the main factors you will consider are price, trust and speed. mmoko has many years of experience in the field of game goods sales, providing excellent pre-sales and after-sales services for more than 50,000 customers. Our customer service staff and game traders are online 24 hours a day. If you have any problems, please feel free to contact us. Our goal is to do our best to meet the needs of our customers.

Mounts also take up space in your bags, bags which will of course be much smaller.  Every bag space counts.  With no guild banks, and much smaller storage space, your bank alts are going to be essential.  You’ll need to remember to always post everything back to a bank alt, and to remember to get everything from the mail box to the Auction House.  Which is only in Ironforge or Orgrimmar.
So committed, in fact, that modern WoW players are trying the beta and reporting what seem like bugs today but what were actually intended functionality 13 years ago. This became such a common occurrence that Blizzard publicly posted a list of known non-issues called the "WoW Classic 'Not a Bug' List." For example, hitboxes for the Tauren player race are much larger than those of other races. In a modern game, this would be seen as a serious balance issue (see: Apex Legends). But it's what vanilla WoW was like, so it has been faithfully reproduced.
Brewmaster: Hot Trub - Purifying Brew deals 30% of your purified staggered damage to all enemies within 10 yards. Mistweaver: Way of the Crane - Increases your Physical damage by 25%, you remove and become immune to all snare and root effects and you heal up to 3 nearest allies for 150% of all damage done. Lasts 15 sec. Windwalker: Reverse Harm - Heals a friendly target for 8% of their maximum health, and causes 100% of the amount healed to instantly be dealt to the nearest enemy as Nature damage within 5 yards. Paladin
We have no idea what implications this might have and whether or not it even indicates anything, since Patch 8.2 is still in testing and a Tuesday launch is more than unlikely due to Essence tuning and Azshara's Eternal Palace, which is supposedly coming shortly after launch. Blizzard said they wouldn't be delaying the new raid like they did with Battle of Dazar'alor.
15 Nov Changing sides As an old Horde player starting from the end of Vanilla, I've experienced a lot of content Horde-side and grew a bit tired of it. Now I'm torn between 2 options: 1) Recreating character that I had (this mage, actually, who's name was Xoljin before the transfer) to bathe in that nostalgia. 2) Changing a faction to get new experience. I guess there are other old-timers with the same stories, so what do you guys think? Another question, since I can't remember: was it possible to create characters of both factions on PvE and RP servers? What about RP-PvP?Арканист7 15 Nov
14 Nov Will I gimp my raid by playing Shadow Priest? I have a burning passion for shadow priest in vanilla and I mostly want to raid. I've been talking to some people I know and some of them say that they would never bring a shadow priest into raid and others say that they absolutely want 1 shadow priest in their raid group. Why the mixed reactions? From my understanding, shadow priests in classic are mainly brought to raids to buff the damage output of your warlocks with Shadow Weaving. How many warlocks would a raid need to make 1 shadow priest worth bringing over a mage for example, and am I gimping the raids DPS by taking up that raid spot?Luminé39 14 Nov
14 Nov Slow or fast? Class? All of us have a dream or plan for Classic. I'm curious to know, how do you fellow forum members feel about the lvling experience in Classic? Do you want to speed lvl and get to end game as soon as possible or take your time? What class will you choose? The fastest lvler? The most self sufficient? The team specialist? Myself I'm so happy about feeling absolutely no need to rush and I look so much forward to slow laidback lvling, this time not a totally clueless virgin noob. I plan to be human, just like my very first char. Then rediscovering everything and also taking part of what I missed because I didn't start playing until mid TBC. Like the opening of AQ, such a glorious event! :D Hopefully Blizzard isn't patching too fast for me to take part. I'll be taking my time to read the quests and not use any questhelper. Stopping here and there to do some fishing. Inviting people to group up for questing whenever I can. I'm planning to be a mage, partly because of the social aspect. I'm sure I'll be asked for portals and food/water by randoms and that's perfectly fine, a chance to get to know many players and sort out leechers. Will they offer tip, ask if i need any help, trade me something they don't need etc or just take it and leave without even saying "thank you"? Maybe I'll take tailoring + some gathering profession, not decided yet. I want to do something that's useful not only to myself but to others, make some G on the process. As a mage I count on dying a lot... Doing dungeons the old way I really look forward to. Slow, no mindless silent killing squads in Vanilla. CC. Careful pulls. Group coordination necessary. No LFG or random kicks so people will rather stay until it's completed and we're doing it right, even if there are wipes. And finally, in some distant future, I'll hopefully get to raiding. By then hopefully with a full list of friendly players and in a good guild with like minded people. 40 man raids, so amazing! Correct me if I'm wrong, but mages would be needed in MC because of decurse and strong aoe, so there would be a spot for me. Counting on the vendor machine cooking but what the heck, making food and drink out of thin air is kind of cool. :)Eulalia35 14 Nov
15 Nov Everyone will google everything anyway There seems to be this weird consensus among hardcore Classic fans that both leveling and end-game content will be "harder" due to no handholding and aids by Blizzard. People also hope to revive barrens chat because people will "finally be asking for Mankriks wife again". Lets be completely honest. Hardcore Classic players/people coming from Private Servers know all the intrinsic little details by heart by now, while people coming in to "check out" how Vanilla was will simply google everything. Nothing will be new. Nothing will be truly challenging due to lack of knowledge. Your "epic", "months long" journey to 60 of old will take a fraction of the time it took back then, because back then you had no clue about any quest locations. Now you do. Barrens Chat will be nothing but a few people forcibly trying to make Chuck Norris jokes because "thats how it was back then". People might entertain the notion for a while for nostalgias sake, but eventually Barrens Chat will be as barren as your favourite server in BfA right now.Ilathria23 15 Nov
My main plan will be to focus on raw gold in the beginning. Then I will spend my gold on leveling tailoring and enchanting so I can shuffle enchanting materials which is likely to be very profitable. I already have some shuffle ideas, and I will look for more. Then I’ll work on obtaining the rare enchanting and tailoring recipes to craft those for gold.
HOWEVER, I did find out that there was an exploit to get around it (one of those rare exploits where you would WANT a bit of lag). Basically if you spammed “X” to sit/stand/sit/stand, then if a mob hit you while you were sitting and right as you were standing up, then it would register as a crit, but on the server side you would be standing, thus allowing the ability to proc.

Arms: Sharpen Blade - When activated, your next Mortal Strike will deal 15% increased damage and reduce healing taken by 50% for 6 sec. Fury: Battle Trance - You go into a trance causing you to regenerate 3% of your health and generate 5 Rage every 3 sec for 18 sec after using Raging Blow twice in a row on a target. Using Raging Blow on a new target will cancel this effect. Protection: Thunderstruck - Thunder Clap roots all targets for 1 sec. You can find a list of all Essences available in Rise of Azshara here.

15 Nov question about hunter So i saw this leveling guide for hunter in classic and it seems like u need some kind of addon to track ur auto shot. So my question is how did auto shot work back then? did u have to stand still to be able to shoot auto shots? and did like using arcane shot reset the timer of auto shot wich means if u are 1 sec from an auto shot but uses arcane instead u get new 3 sec (or whatever the wep speed is) before an auto shot is fired? thanksCirluica29 15 Nov

Nov 15 Classic hit me like a truck I had no interest in it what so ever. After watching the blizzcon demo - I can’t stop thinking about it. The combat it’s so visceral. The world is so much bigger and so much more dangerous. Each fight reminded me of dark souls. I’ve been watching only classic and vanilla vids since blizzcon, it’s actually ruined retail for me. I was actually enjoying raiding in BFA but now I don’t want anything but to play classic and immerse myself in it. What is this sorcery? I heard vanilla wow was addictive, but really? I feel like I’m in withdrawal and I haven’t even played it yet. I think I’m in trouble once it releases. I don’t want to log into retail anymore :(Gripp204 Nov 15

15 Nov A Guild of First-Timers This post is only meant to gauge interest for a guild of this kind, as the release of Classic is still a while off. I'm interested in starting or joining a guild of likeminded individuals, who want to play Classic WoW without [excessive] use of guides and/or foreknowledge. I began playing WoW towards the end of The Burning Crusade, so I never actually experienced Vanilla, though I did play on Nostalrius for a bit. A private server environment never appealed to me much though, but I am excited to experience the slower pace and more social aspects that Classic holds in store for us on official servers. What I really hope for, though, is the opportunity to discover things for myself and to learn and grow alongside other people who may have missed the early days. Of course, most (all?) people who will play Classic will have played WoW at some point before, and not all knowledge and memories can be wiped ("Wow, cool, a new town called Goldshire! I wonder what I can do here?"). This is ok, and I do not suggest dogmatically avoiding any kinds of guides at all costs. I do, however, feel like a general guideline like this could make for a fun experience. As a guild, we would strive to progress through dungeons and raids on our own, figuring out pitfalls and challenges as we go along. Naturally, this means that we wouldn't be particularly "hardcore", and speed would not be our primary objective. Instead, I suggest emphasis is placed on exploration and trial-and-error. I do not want to explicitly exclude people who have played Vanilla, all are welcome. That being said, if one were to have great knowledge of many encounters, it might defeat the purpose of this guild if it was just shared with everyone from the beginning. Likewise, if a knowledgeable person like that were to keep quiet on purpose, it might become frustrating for them to see the rest futilely derping around and missing something obvious. Personally, I have been trying to keep myself from binge watching all kinds of stuff about Classic WoW, precisely because I want to discover it for myself. Despite my efforts, I already know some things, and surely other people interested in this will as well; but I believe there may still be value in what I am proposing. Information should be shared freely in the Guild as well, of course. The intent is to grow as a group, not each wait for everyone to individually figure out where Gromsblood grows before sharing it with them. As a final note, I would be willing to be the guild leader, though I hope it would be a very democratic and non-hierarchical environment in general. I cannot, however, guarantee that I will have enough time to continue to fill that role in the future, and other obligations prevent me from playing outside evenings and weekends in general. As such, if anyone else is interested in taking up a leading role, let me know. First of all, though, is anyone interested in a guild like this in the first place? PS: In case it wasn't obvious from where I have posted this, I am from the EU region. Also, I currently intend to play Alliance as a faction, but am in principle open to the possibility of playing Horde instead.Toh16 15 Nov
As many of you know, leveling a Warrior in Classic is not easy - it’s almost like playing the game on hard mode. Despite having low mobility, low sustain, and the highest gear dependance in the game, Warriors are by far the most played class in Vanilla. There is a sort of masochistic appeal to leveling the hardest class in the game. To some, this epic challenge provides the purest Vanilla experience, and watching an expert pilot this class with finesse is like watching an artist at work.

Kaivax, a WoW forum community manager, revealed that WoW Classic's class design, battleground mechanics and stats on existing items will be set to their 1.12 state, despite the game releasing content that expands beyond that. This removes "progressive itemization," so if the stats on a specific piece of equipment was changed during the original updates, that won't take effect in this version.
Nov 15 How to fix paladin dps Just make holy wrath & exorcism work on all types of enemy but not affect player characters. It's an easy fix that will make pally dps better in pve but stay the same as they were in vanilla in pvp. Put this thing into a deep ret talent so it will require people to spec deep in ret to be able to dps. A good spot is add it with two-hand weapon specialization making it so that by putting talents into it all hostile aside from players and undeads(since they are already affected by the default version) to be affected by the dmg and effects of the spells effectiveness by 33%/66%/100%. I doubt they would even do this so im just throwing out ideas since too many of you dont actually read the forum and only read the OP here you go to explain a bit of my reasoning because this change wont make ret stronger than pure dps; clearly most of you people didnt play vanilla nor know anything about naxx. ...Toushin260 Nov 15

Nov 15 Dual Boxing in Classic I was seriously thinking about being a masochist and playing a paladin in classic but then I wondered if dual boxing will still be possible in classic with the change in engines running the game. I've never dual boxed so will have to research how it works. However, it hit me that I can dual box a warrior and a priest then transfer the priest to my main account at 60 so I will have the best tank and best healer in the game to play around with. Anyone else planning on doing this and have any good resources to start learning about it?Twiinkedd6	Nov 15

“WoW has been a huge game,” Brack continued. “It’s had a huge community impact, it’s created a lot of bonds and friendships. Not being able to experience that game felt like a bit of a tragedy. So that was part of the lens as well was like ‘hey this game should exist, we should find a way for this game to exist!’ And now we’ve done the work and it will exist, and you saw the release date at the end of August, we’re really excited to bring a multi-year journey to that kind of conclusion.”

A demo of the game was available at BlizzCon 2018, and was downloadable on home computers for anyone who purchased a BlizzCon ticket or virtual ticket. The servers became available when Opening Ceremony started at BlizzCon 2018 and was set to end on November 8, but was extended until November 12.[4] Players started at level 15, and the only available zones were Westfall and the Barrens.[5] It was based on patch 1.13.0, essentially patch 1.12.0 ported to a modern infrastructure. The first day of the demo, there was a playtime limit of a cumulative 60 minutes with a cooldown of 90 minutes, applied through the BlizzCon Exhaustion debuff.[6] The debuff was removed on the second day of BlizzCon 2018.[7]

Nov 15 Little Test on Class Quest Rewards Hey guys, I did a little test on certain class rewards to check whether they are adequate or not for the level they are obtainable. Paladin - Verigan's Fist is a famous weapon, added probably during the Naxx patch and lot of paladins remember lasting it for long time. Obtainable level is like 22, with party of same level players. And the Mace is equivalent to a level 26 Blue Mace. This means it's not bad! Warrior - Brutal Hauberk is infamous warrior chest. It is obtainable at level 20(as I remember), but it requires running a level 28+ dungeon. And it's mediocre - it compares to a level 24 blue, which is stupid. Whirlwind Axe is a famous warrior weapon which requires a nanny. :D You get level 30 and then pay people money or beg them to help you. This is not even doable with normal party until 35ish. Whirlwind Axe is equivalent to a 35 level Blue Axe, which is decent but still seems to be forcing it. Unless you hire a nanny, being social will probably help you get it at around 35-36 with similar level players. Warlock - Enchanted Gold Bloodrobe is pretty famous. I am not sure when it is exactly doable but is comparable to a level 35ish Robe. I think the verdict is that Paladin's Hammer is by far the best and the reason for it is that it was added later, at the end of vanilla, when Blizzard had more brains. :DHolylr1 Nov 15
14 Nov At least in 1 thing we all agree? Blizzard made "haste" decision and terrible decision,by opening Demo without even completing or making "Classic" authentic to "Vanilla we all remember from 2005/2006". They didn't even inform or request "Public Opinion" before they released Demo with changes like "Sharp,Loot Share,Graphic".Killerduki7 14 Nov

WoW: Classic is scheduled for August 27 (technically August 26 if you're in the Americas). The soonest that you can play it is starting in May, during Blizzard's scheduled stress tests. To opt-in you must have an active subscription on your Battle.net account. If you do, go to Account Management and select the Wow Classic beta. Keep in mind, there will be level caps during the test. The schedule is as follows:

15 Nov Elitist guilds, will we see them? Just popped to my head. What do you think will we see many "hardcore" raiding guilds on classic servers? Raiding on vanilla will be a fun thing for sure, but the raids are a joke designed for 20-30 people and will be cleared the day they open so idea of an "hardcore" guild denying you playing an enha shaman for example seems rather silly. Sure there will be some trying to get world firsts. Not sure what I'm trying to say here.Sumutar24 15 Nov
Nov 15 Why was it "easy" for Nost, but hard for Bliz During Blizzcon we were told how challenging (at least that's how it came off) it was for Blizzard to create a working version of Classic... but Nostalrius, with no ties to Blizzard, was able to make a relatively bug free version of Vanilla? When I say "bug free" I know there was "a lot" of issues, but nothing an entire team at Blizzard couldn't fix. Wouldn't it be less work?Goró64 Nov 15
If the end game feels miles away, and min-maxing is difficult because frankly, you're gonna take what you get and like it, then the focus of the game changes completely. Suddenly it's about the experience of leveling again, and hanging out with friends, and chatting with people in Goldshire (well, for purely innocent reasons anyway -- the Moon Guard server's Goldshire crew still does plenty of chatting).

":"  -  Any time a step ends in a ":" instead of a "." means that the next step is part of the current step you are on.  This generally means the next step should be done while working on the current step.  This means every "start working on" or "continue working on" will end in a ":".  But this is used with other occasions as well, so keep this in mind.
Nov 15 Classic Box Cost Disappointed in the decision to bundle the subs and (at least for now) not have a separate Classic sub option. That said, can we at least get a separate box cost for access to classic? It would: - help alleviate temporary bloat and subsequent dead realms - servers would be more stable population-wise over time - remove the bulk of the need for sharding - give a solid idea of how many servers will be needed - allow blizzard to set up a separate classic forum for those with a monetary commitment - with a separate forum group, feedback would be limited to those with a vested interest The subs would still be bundled, but there would be a box cost, akin to what one would have to pay for BFA access. A very good to-the-point post from later on in this thread:... Another good post about how the current setup would necessitate sharding:... A decent (albeit short-term) alternative:...Brokenwind314 Nov 15
14 Nov Pserver mechanics So, like a bunch of people here, I played Vanilla on release. Quit after TBC, and only ever picked up the game again in the Pserver scene, which was cool, but I think there are a lot of misconceptions regarding things that work a certain way on private, and never did on live. I think it'd be good if we made a list of differences, to sort this out. 1. Sitting to trigger crit mechanics works on P, didn't on vanilla. 2. Frontstabbing is a thing on P, wasn't on vanilla (I think). 3. Melee DPS is always way higher on P. 4. Warrior charge has always behaved oddly on mangos core 5. The current trend in Pservers is getting 4-5 ony kills per lockout by having 35 people die and leave before the ki ll. Was this possible back then? And so on. Anyone wanna add to the list?Visgoth27 14 Nov

15 Nov What classes will be rare/common? Given that with Wow Classic, players will have the benefit of hindsight, what classes will be oversubscribed and which will be rare? I prefer playing spellcasters and would love to go mage, but it would be a bit boring if there were loads of other mages around. Seems like there might be. What's a good compromise, lock?Ballam37 15 Nov
